Which times table to learn first, and which to leave until last
The tables are not equally hard. Taking them in order of difficulty rather than from 1 to 12 means a child is fluent in most of the grid before meeting the awkward part.

How to get the tables to stick
Little and often beats long sessions. Recall is built by retrieving a fact repeatedly over days, not by staring at a grid for an hour, and the scheduler here handles the spacing by bringing back the facts a child gets wrong sooner and pushing the secure ones further out.
Speed is the actual goal, not accuracy alone. A child who works out 7 x 8 by counting up in eights will get there and will still struggle with long multiplication, fractions and division later, because those need the fact instantly in order to leave room for the rest of the problem. The target is answering without visible calculation.
Learn one table at a time to fluency before adding the next. Mixing tables too early produces a child who is vaguely familiar with all of them and fluent in none. The exception is once several are secure, when deliberately mixing them is exactly right, because a fact is only really known when it can be recalled out of sequence.
Reciting the table in order is a weaker skill than it looks. A child who can chant two, four, six, eight is using the sequence as a crutch and often cannot answer 6 x 2 directly. Ask facts at random from the start, which is how the cards present them.
